For almost two (2) decades NBL has supported the three (3) schools, in the provision of soft drinks for sale as part of the NISE schools’ fundraising initiatives. NBL’s relationship with the School for the Visually Impaired, School for the Hearing Impaired, and also with the Môreson School for the Mentally Impaired started back in 2001, and for the past 18 years – apart from the soft drinks sponsored every year – NBL has also supported in other ways, including clean-up campaigns, amongst others.
NBL Brand Manager, Katia Leskelä: “I am proud to say that, for 2019 NBL will provide NISE with five (5) cases of Aqua Splash water, and five (5) cases of Fruitree juice every month for each school, for the next 12 months. In addition, NBL will also sponsor a one-day Character Transformation Training for principals, teachers and administrative staff to the value of N$48 600, 00. NBL will also plant fruit trees at the Môreson School in support of its Green Scheme and Aquaponics Project Plan. Regardless of the challenges our children face – whether mentally or physically -, they should all be exposed to the same opportunities as everyone else, and should not be excluded from the privileges of education and being educated. As a proud subsidiary of the O&L Group, NBL is passionate and dedicated to the group purpose of ‘Creating a future, enhancing life’.
Acting Principal of the Môreson School for the Mentally Impaired, Suzy Brown: “The support from NBL has proven to be a very significant and valuable gesture that aids in the maintenance of these schools. NBL has been a true blessing and an exceptional helping hand. We will never be grateful enough.”
