The Windhoek Carnival (Wika) beckons everyone to partake in a vibrant celebration of culture, comedy, and music with the back-to-back O&L International Evening events on the 11th and 12th of April, culminating with the Juka (Youth Karneval) on the 13th. This trio of events is set to showcase a medley of performances from globally acclaimed acts to our very own local stars.

Here’s a Sneak Peek of the Upcoming Extravaganza:

• HSO Band from Eschweiler: Celebrating 25 years of musical innovation, the HSO Band is set to captivate audiences with their dynamic renditions and engaging performances. Their legacy of international performances and cultural exchange programs will enrich our nights with global rhythm and harmony.

• Jägermeister Brass Cartel: Adding a dash of brass and brawn, the Jägermeister Brass Cartel will deliver high-energy performances that are sure to get everyone on their feet. Covering international to “local is lekker” classics, this is a performance that is not to be missed.

• Comedy by Ujandja Zatjirua: Laughter will fill the air as local comedy icon Ujandja Zatjirua takes the stage, promising a night of wit and humour that resonates with our diverse audience.

• Suzy Eises on Saxophone: Let your spirit soar with the soulful melodies from the sensational saxophonist Suzy Eises, whose music transcends boundaries.

• Darren “Whackhead” Simpson’s Antics: Brace yourself for a rollercoaster of laughs with Darren “Whackhead” Simpson’s unique blend of comedy and entertainment.

• The Garde Girls’ Performance: Be enchanted by the captivating performances of The Garde Girls, a group that embodies the spirit of celebration.

• Claudine Nelson and the Playful Pulse: Dive into the rhythmic world of Claudine Nelson and the Playful Pulse as they deliver musical experiences that resonate with the heartbeats of Africa.
