Qualifying criteria

Membership is based on three main factors: length of service, exit circumstances, and alignment with the OL Persona. Each criterion ensures that members are not only experienced but also uphold the values and standards of OL.

01

Eligibility is assessed on length of service, exit circumstances and alignment with the OL Persona.
The confirmed baseline for Alumni Membership is a minimum of five years of continuous service, provided the former employee left in Good Standing.OL reserves its rights to allow membership to persons who do not fully meet the eligibility criteria, but who made a meaningful contribution to OL’s legacy.Membership remains discretionary. It is not automatic and it is not an entitlement.

02

Leaving OL in good standing means leaving without disciplinary dismissal and with a satisfactory record of service. Retirees will generally be eligible. Voluntary resignations are eligible if the exit reason demonstrates continued alignment with the OL Persona and values. Departures due to restructuring, redundancy or operational changes will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by Human Capital.

03

All members must embody OL's core characteristics — Authentic, Caring and Passionate — and commit to serving as brand ambassadors in their communities. Eligibility is ongoing, not only based on past employment.

Membership is open to:

  • Former employees of OL or any of its operating companies who meet the eligibility criteria and are approved by OL.

  • Individuals who, although not employees of OL, made exceptional contributions to the Group.

  • Invited honorary members who embody the OL Persona and contribute meaningfully to OL.

Former employees will not qualify where their separation from OL involved conduct that materially conflicted with the OL Persona. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Dismissal for misconduct, including fraud, theft, dishonesty, harassment, discrimination, gross negligence or serious breach of policy.

  • Resignation in lieu of disciplinary action.

  • Separation linked to legal or reputational risk.

  • Ongoing unresolved disputes with the Group.
