Close ModalMembership is assessed against three factors: length of service, exit circumstances and alignment with the OL Persona. Together, these criteria help ensure that members reflect the experience, values and spirit of OL.
Your journey with us matters. Eligibility for the OL Legends programme is assessed based on your length of service, exit circumstances and alignment with the OL Persona. Alumni membership is generally available to former employees with a minimum of five years of continuous service who left the Group in Good Standing. We also recognise that every contribution is unique. In exceptional circumstances, OL may welcome individuals whose impact on the Group extends beyond length of service alone. Membership remains at OL’s discretion and is considered a valued recognition of contribution and connection.
Every chapter of the OL story is built on trust and mutual respect. Leaving OL in Good Standing means concluding your employment without disciplinary dismissal and with a satisfactory service record. As a community grounded in shared values, membership is reserved for individuals whose conduct reflected the OL Persona throughout their time with the Group.
OL Legends reflects the values and culture that continue to connect us. Membership is rooted in alignment with the OL Persona and the positive spirit in which you left the Group. As ambassadors of our shared legacy, OL Legends are expected to champion the Authentic, Caring and Passionate characteristics that define OL, personally and professionally.
Membership is open to:
Former employees of OL or its operating companies who meet the eligibility criteria and have been approved by OL.
Individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to OL, regardless of employment status.
Honorary members invited by OL in recognition of their alignment with the OL Persona and their meaningful contribution to OL.
Who is not eligible?
Membership is reserved for individuals whose conduct reflects the values of the OL Persona. Former employees will not qualify where their separation from OL involved conduct that materially conflicted with these values, including but not limited to:
Dismissal for misconduct, including fraud, theft, dishonesty, harassment, discrimination, gross negligence or a serious breach of policy
Resignation in lieu of disciplinary action
Separation associated with legal or reputational risk
Ongoing unresolved disputes with the Group
A thoughtful three-stage review process designed to maintain the integrity and quality of the OL Legends community.
Applications must be submitted through the official OL Legends website and are subject to OL's review and approval.
The Company Secretariat is responsible for eligibility assessment, in collaboration with the Alumni Programme Sponsors.
Final approval and formal welcome into OL Legends.
Membership may be reviewed, suspended or revoked if a member’s conduct materially conflicts with the OL Persona or creates legal, reputational, cultural or brand risk for OL. This includes conduct that damages the OL brand, breaches confidentiality or falls short of the Authentic, Caring and Passionate characteristics that unite the OL Legends community.
Membership of OL Legends reflects a valued connection to the OL community. Benefits, event participation and engagement opportunities are offered at OL’s discretion and may vary based on availability, programme requirements and the nature of the activity. Membership does not guarantee employment, re-employment, invitations, discounts, access to facilities or other privileges.
Joining OL Legends is currently free of charge. If a future event, activity or optional service carries a cost, we will communicate this clearly in advance.
Alumni are welcome to recommend former colleagues for consideration. All recommendations are subject to the OL Legends eligibility criteria and review process and membership is granted only after approval by OL.
